my journey
to freedom
Music has been part of my life long before DJ booths and bookings.
I grew up in a musical family in Auckland, New Zealand — surrounded by rhythm, sound systems, records, and people who felt music rather than just played it. That foundation never left me. It shaped how I listen, how I move a room, and how I treat every set with intention.
Today, I’m the founder of AMC Entertainment — a premium DJ service specialising in weddings, private events, and corporate functions across South East Queensland, with international bookings open for 2026.
When clients book me, they’re not just hiring someone to play music. They’re trusting me with atmosphere, timing, emotion, and energy — the moments people remember long after the night ends - I take this responsibility seriously.
I’m known for reading rooms, adapting in real time, and creating seamless experiences that feel effortless on the surface — because the work has already been done behind the scenes.
But this didn’t start polished.
There was a time when my life felt like a loop: provide, repeat, survive.
Always tired. Always working. Never building anything that felt aligned.
Then COVID hit — and the illusion of “security” disappeared overnight.
That moment forced a decision.
I backed myself. I returned to music fully. I started from the ground up with second-hand decks, borrowed gear, no roadmap, and zero guarantees. I worked a 9–5, practised late into the night, played free gigs, made mistakes, got ignored, and kept showing up anyway.
Every set taught me something — about the gear, the crowd, pressure, humility, and leadership.
That process didn’t just shape me as a DJ.
It shaped me as a man.
Who I am off the decks.
I’m a husband. A father. And someone deeply committed to self-mastery — mentally, physically, and spiritually.
How I live is how I perform.
Discipline. Presence. Preparation. Calm under pressure.
That’s why clients trust me in high-stakes moments. And it’s why other DJs ask how I built this path without shortcuts or hype.
Why I teach as well.
I’ll never forget what it felt like to be new.
Confused by gear. Overwhelmed by information. Watching everyone else look confident while I figured things out alone.
That’s why I choose to teach about something I am so passionate about and it doesn’t feel separate from my work as a DJ - It’s an extension of it.
Because real confidence behind the decks only comes from doing the work — and doing it with intention.
If you’re here for different reasons
• If you’re planning a wedding or event
You’re in the right place. I bring professionalism, adaptability, and a deep respect for the moments that matter.
• If you’re learning to DJ
You’re also in the right place. I’ll show you what actually matters — and what doesn’t — so you can build something real.
Either way, you’re not here by accident.
Let’s build something worth remembering.
I didn’t come from a creative network or industry connections. I built everything from the ground up by doing the work in the right order.
That’s what this platform is for.
To bring serious creatives together.
To give new DJs structure and direction.
To help people turn potential into progress — and gigs into freedom.
This isn’t about hype. It’s about building a life that feels aligned.
Why I Created This Platform.
My goal is to help beginner and developing DJs:
